I am SO thankful for my childhood! I was thinking about my 12 year old sister today and how different she and her friends are now, then I was when I was her age. They don't play...they call boys on the phone and listen to music...but thinking of that made me think of all the things that Kristin, Kari, Heather and I did when we where that age. We where weird ... we pretended to be the Beatles, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, Olympic gymnasts, and our favorite, Ninja. Kari even gave each of us a fighting name,
Kristin- Shawasha Ti Toe
Heather- Shabula Batincup
Katie- Shazotle Kingshaw
And Kari-Ginsue Washy Washy
I am so thankful that God allowed us to be so close. We faced some hard stuff when we where pretty little, but none of us ever had to face anything alone. That might sound really cheesy, but oh well. We have all changed a lot, but there are not three girls that I love more, because I know they know me better than anyone else on earth.
Oh and my dad, came in last night and looked at my hair and says " What's with the little pony tail Katie, you look like Pebbles Flintstone," I don't want to hear that from anyone else!
