What I'd like to know is, why do all podcasts and talk radio shows that are related to sex always have to be kind of...stupid? Can't anyone talk about sex with a straight face? Can't anyone actually talk about sex and it not be all about sex toys and ways to "spice it up"? I mean I know those two things are definitely a -part- of sex...but isn't there anyone who wants to talk about sex in a slightly more serious way?

On this particular podcast I was listening to this morning, Dr. Laura Berman was giving her list of things that every couple should have in their bedroom night stand...figuratively. Among other things, on the list were plastic sheets, popsicles, a waterproof, disposable, camera...it was all fairly typical...and she mentioned "erotic wrestling" and blindfolding your partner. It just seemed really silly...and maybe it's just my lack of experience in needing to spice things up...I don't know, but I'd really like to hear someone talk about sex and it not -always- be this exact same conversation.

There was one slightly interesting accessory that she mentioned that I found a little interesting and entertaining, mostly because I'd never heard of it before...the ibuzz. It's a small vibrating bullet that you connect to your ipod and it vibrates to the beat of the music you're playing. The louder you turn up the volume the harder it vibrates.

What in the world do we think of this, ladies and gentlemen?

Anyway, I was rather disappointed, but I suppose I should have known better than to hope that someone might be able to talk about sex and it not be goofy in some way.

This morning I'm waiting for Danita to get up and then we're running some errands before it's time to get ready for the wedding. She's actually supposed to be here -right now-...but I bet she's still sleeping (I'm right aren't I?!) and so I'm going to wait just a little while longer and then call her.

I woke up this morning to thunder and it was sooooo nice. I like waking up to having everything dark and rumbly. =)
